Job information MECHANICAL ENGINEER
- Minimum Education DIV
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7+ years experiencing in oil and gas with major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design of oil and gas.
- Site experience especially involvement during fabrication and equipment installation stage shall be a bonus.
- Strong knowledge in design & engineering software.
- Prepares mechanical equipment descriptions, performs equipment sizing and prepares equipment data sheets includes, but is not limited to, pressure vessel (separators, filters, etc.), heat exchangers and storage tanks.
- Prepares mechanical equipment technical specifications and equipment RFQs to request budgetary pricing to support study or project work.
- Performs technical analysis of bids and review of vendor drawings.
- Assures all mechanical engineering designs meet applicable codes and standards including company standards (PTS. DEP, etc.) and industrial standard (API, ASME, etc.) as well as others used in static and rotating equipment mechanical design.
- Coordinates with clients, vendors and subcontractors as required.
